Can you describe the main focus of your current role?
In my current role, my main focus is to provide ridiculously personal hospitality to all of my clients. I absolutely love seeing my clients' vision come to life in a meaningful way.
What is your approach as a wedding specialist?
My approach as a wedding specialist is to listen deeply, plan intentionally, and create experiences that reflect each couple’s unique love story. I focus on clear communication, thoughtful details, and seamless coordination so that every moment feels personal, joyful, and truly unforgettable.
What are some emerging trends that you’re seeing for wedding events at The Kimpton Shane?
Unique dining experiences are all the rage. Some have opted to take a step back from the traditional plated dinner, and have opted for action stations and dessert bars to get everyone up and mingling. Additionally, we're seeing grooms in jewel-toned or velvet suits, brides in convertible or non-traditional gowns, and bold fashion choices across the board, uniquely personal attire.
Do you have any favorite spaces for weddings at The Kimpton Shane?
All of our spaces lend themselves to a unique experience, with beautiful floor to ceiling windows funneling natural light into the space, but if I had to pick my top three they would be: 1. The wedding wing on the 14th floor, great for bridal and groomsmen parties to get ready and gather, our Lumina suite is absolutely divine and drenched in luxury. 2. Aveline Cocktail Bar & Lounge, perfect for a welcome reception or even a farewell brunch to have another chance to intimately connect with your loved ones after the hustle and bustle of the big day. 3. Venture Ballroom, an expansive space with floor to ceiling windows wrapping the room.
Is it hard to plan a wedding/event when you don't live in the area?
Planning an event while living in another city/area can be tricky but technology has made it much easier. Our virtual tour assists with painting the grand picture of our spaces and sleeping rooms. Though I always recommend couples make a special trip to see the space in person to truly envision yourself on the big day!
How many guests can your wedding accommodate?
We have flexible event spaces that can comfortably host celebrations with up to 110 guests. We'll work closely with you to determine the best setup for your specific guest count and event.
Can you provide a list of available dates and pricing options?
Certainly! We can provide you with a list of available dates and pricing options based on your preferred wedding date and estimated guest count—or I can create a custom proposal if one of our packages does not quite align with your needs.
Can I tour the venue to see it in person?
Yes! In fact, we highly recommend it! There is nothing like being in the space where you plan to say I Do. Our couples are the ones who breathe life and love into our spaces, we love to host them to get a clear vision of one of the most important days of their lives.
What is one piece of advice for couples on their big day?
Get a planner or day of coordinator. Take the stress off of yourselves and have a designated person to work the details, so you can truly relax and enjoy YOUR day. Lastly, to simply remember this is about you and your partner's love story, keep this in the forefront as you meticulously plan the details of your celebration.
